Algae

Algae is quickly gaining acceptance as a potential key, plentiful source for the production of biofuels and by-products.  Unlike food-based formulations, Algae doesn't have any negative food market implications, and it can be grown virtually anywhere that is warm and sunny - in fresh or saline water.  Algae grows very quickly, requires minimal supervision, and "eats" carbon, through the photosynthesization of CO₂ and nitrous oxide into oxygen to improve the environment while simultaneously producing biofuel and valuable by-products.

New Algae technology holds a promising future as a source of clean biofuel and by-products, while providing a solution to the pressing challenges of carbon sequestration.
